We start this day's adventure to the Sacred Valley with the pickup from your Accommodation in Ollantaytambo or Urubamba around 8:00 am. Pick-up time is flexible and it will be provided once the tour is confirmed. Based on the sites you are interested in, you will visit some of the following sites:

We start with the impressive Ollantaytambo ruins ( optional if you did already) an ancient Inca fortress, Then we travel to Moray and see the agricultural terraces built along the hillsides. These terraces were built by the Incas to grow an abundance of crops on less-than-ideal mountain terrain. Right next to this area, at Maras (Salt Mines), there are over 4000 salt ponds which were used for a long time by our ancestors. This helped preserve their foods for long periods. After learning about Incan agricultural techniques, make your way to Maras town to enjoy our lunch. After lunch, make your way to the historical town Chinchero, a small rustic town where we will explore and then visit the textile weaving center. See various textiles woven with traditional Incan techniques. finally, we will drive to Cusco where the tour finishes at the main square or your accommodation, if you prefer to finish in Ollantaytambo or Urubamba please just let us know once you make your reservation.
